With over one million artifacts relating to local history, science and arts, the Neville Public Museum of Brown County is a top destination for exploring Indiana history and the history of the larger region. Some permanent exhibits include "On the Edge of the Inland Sea," a journey through time from the ice age to the 20th century, and historical pictures of the Green Bay Packers. Some notable temporary exhibits include an art annual featuring local artists and "The Great Lake Stories," which tells the history of the creation of the Great Lakes and their importance to the area. The museum is located across the river west of downtown, northeast of Seymour Park.
Open Mon. - Sat. 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Wed. - Thurs. until 8:00 p.m.; Sun. noon - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $4; Children (5-15) $2; Children under 5 are free.
